A Keeper of Words; Accompanying Book to
Legend: The Arthurian Tarot
by
Anna-Marie Ferguson
This 250 page book is the
companion for the Arthurian Tarot Deck.
For those who own the deck I am sure
this is a long-awaited book. The charm
of the legend is undeniable as it
retells the history of the goddess in a
romantic fashion. Ms. Ferguson relates
the legends of Arthur as she details the
meanings of each card which is why this
book is so detailed. Incredibly she does
this with the entire deck. It represents
allot of hard work and thought on her
part as she extends to the reader her
visions of the legend taking them well
beyond the ordinary meaning of the tarot
cards, into the realm of fantasy and
mythos. Ms. Ferguson is an incredible
storyteller!

 Tarot
For A New Generation

This book is written for adolescents and
young adults but it is very well written
and would be a helpful guide for any
beginning reader. Several different
decks are shown and the author
demonstrates many ways to use the cards.

Tarot Spells
by
Janina Renee
This book works in very mysterious ways.
If you have a little experience in the
tarot already, and understand it's
meanings somewhat, then you will like
this. It's almost too easy to use. The
nice thing about this book is that all
of the spells are positive. It promotes
transformation, and inner peace. I
highly recommend this book, to anyone
looking for a unique approach to
integrating tarot into their magicks.
The system represented here is very
stable and fairly safe.

 Tarot
for Your Self
by Mary K. Greer
Mary Greer is probably the foremost expert on the subject of
tarot, having written several books on the subject. I like this
particular text because it focuses on self-understanding and
personal transformation. Utilizing this book, a reader can
deepen into her relationship with the cards and with herself.)

Runes: A Comprehensive Guide to Casting and Divination With One
of the Oldest Known Rune Sets
by P.M.H Atwater
Unlike other rune
systems, which are generally used in divination by pulling runes
out of a pouch and placing them in a set pattern much like Tarot
card spreads, these runes are tossed and interpreted based upon
the special relationship between the stones. Atwater also
includes a good deal of information on how to interpret them and
provides examples of casts she did for others with her sample
interpretations.
