I have to say that I believe this is one of the few cases where I've felt a book series has lived up to its hype.  I've devoured every last one of these books, not just for the terrific plot lines and creative imaginings, but to revel in J. K. Rowling's talent as a wordsmith.  She is a pure joy to read.  At our house, we've got 2 copies of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows pre-ordered so my daughter Maddie & I don't have to fight over who will read it first!   (And I'd better check my calendar to be sure that we don't have anything scheduled on the 21st, because all we'll want to do is read).
